What is a Dedicated Server?

A dedicated server is a type of hosting where you lease an entire server that is not shared with anyone else. This is more flexible than shared hosting, as you have full control over the server, including choice of operating system, hardware, software, etc. You are also free to install what you want on the server, and configure it to your needs

Who is a Dedicated Server Right for?

Dedicated servers are right for people who have high traffic sites. Generally, if you have a site or application that uses high amounts of system resources, disk space, or bandwidth or requires special server configurations to run, you should consider using a dedicated server. Furthermore, if you have quite a few sites, a dedicated server can be useful to keep them all in one place, instead of multiple shared hosting accounts.
